FAQS FOR SELLERS
Useful Info
WHY SHOULD I SELL ON HOBBYSEEKERS?
Hobbyseekers will be a one stop shop for people looking to take up a new hobby using only UK based independent suppliers.

Our platform will enable our customers master their chosen skill, by recommending further and more advanced kits and workshops based on what they have already completed.

We will also have our Seek a Hobby, Share a Hobby scheme, which will enable them to buy a hobby kit for themselves and donate one to a care home in the UK.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO BECOMING AN EARLY SELLER?
The platform will launch in March 2021, and we are looking for our first sellers. We will be handpicking our first 25 sellers based on applications.

Benefits to becoming one of our early sellers, or VIS (Very Important Seller!) are:
-No listing fees or commission charged for the first 12 months.
-You get a say in further development of the site.
-You will be invited to special taster and networking events throughout the year.
-As the site grows and develops further perks will be added.

HOW WILL SEEK-A-HOBBY, SHARE-A-HOBBY AFFECT SELLERS?
Our seek-a-hobby, share-a-hobby scheme enables our customers to donate an at-home craft kit to a care home in the UK.

As a seller, you can choose to opt-in to the scheme. You will need to be able to offer the kit at a minimum 25% off, including post and packaging.

You will be sent some stickers to place on the packaging of the kit, and an address to your nearest participating care home. You will send the kit directly to the home.

To be able to opt-in to the scheme, the kit must not need any further specialist equipment, if you are unsure whether your kit is suitable for the scheme, please email us to check.
WHAT CHARGES ARE THERE?
Our first 25 suppliers will not pay any listing charges or commission for the first 12 months.
There will be a 15p listing charge for at-home kits, workshops and virtual events.

For weekend retreats there will be a 50p listing charge.

A 5% commission will be taken from all orders through the site.
